Father’s Day

Posted in Childhood Days, My Family, Special Events with tags , , , , , , on June 23, 2013 by nursemihoko

PS. Late post. Originally posted on Tumblr last father’s day. 🙂

When I was born, you were there to catch me when i fall, whenever and wherever. When i said my first words, you were there for me to teach me the whole dictionary if need be. When i took my first steps, you were there to encourage me on. When i had my first day at school, you were there to give me advice and help me with my homework.

I still haven’t found any job (with pay), or walked down the aisle, or had my first child.

But I know you will be there for me through all these times and more, the good and bad.

Thank You for everything Pa. For giving me the best childhood memories where you were my best playmate. For being the reason why I lost almost all my teeth before because you always brought me chocolates and ice cream after your work. For not hurting me physically and emotionally.. It’s so hard to find a man that can love me like only you can.

We (RR) always see a friend in you. So I just wrote this to say “We LOVE YOU PAPA SO MUCH!!!’ We appreciate everything you did for us. We only ask God to keep you and mama safe, in good health and pain-free for many, many years. We are extremely blessed to have the presence of a kind, funny and loving father!

Life can be full of wrongs and rights, sadness and triumphs…But you better believe the one that remains through it all is your Mother.
Ma Mhylia Gabriel, You are always there when I am at my weakest, you influence my life through your unconditional love..I just wanted to tell you that I love you…everyday, not just on Mother’s Day

“You know, it’s been said that we just don’t recognize the significant moments in our lives while they’re happening. That we grow complacent with ideas or things or people, and we take them for granted, and it’s usually not until that thing is about to be taken away from you, that you realize how wrong you’ve been, that you realize how much you really need it, how much you love it.” -One Tree Hill

GOODBYE MARCHThank you so much!

  • For the HAPPINESS. Celebrating the recognition day of my brotha with my family, sharing the joy of my cousins who graduated, the pleasure of being an emcee of the Campus Star Grand Finals and the gladness of meeting my high school batchmates.
  • For the Sorrows and Trials. Sometimes you have to experience the bad, so that you can learn to appreciate the good things that enter your life.
  • For all the Disappointments. When I try planning my own life, I forgot that God has a better plan for me. I’ve learned that everything can change in the blink of an eye and tears often come without invitation. I’ve learned crying can make us stronger and there’s never too much love to go around.
  • For all the Surprises. The feeling was so nice when you never expect something you thought won’t happen anymore. The time when I was so down, a week after that, an amazing surprise knocks my yahoo mail. One of the best things I’ve received this month.
  • For the unending love and support of my family. Without them, I don’t think I can be this happy. They are my support system, my everything. 🙂
  • You’ll never know what you’re capable of until you take that first step and go for it… 🙂

Moreover, I was so glad because I have met all my goals this month.

  • Hair has been rebonded
  • watched movies
  • laugh a lot
  • read books
  • Has been accepted by my dream school
  • ate delicious foods
  • celebrated Holy Week
  • had an Easter Egg Hunting

Thank you Lord God!  🙂

If I were to choose about the kind of partner I would love to have, well honestly, I love to have a man who’ll court my family first before courting me. Yes, it means so much to me because in that way I can really feel his sincerity towards me and it also shows that he respects my family as much as he respects me. Without acceptance and affection of us as a couple, I could risk the relationships I have with my family members, and I don’t like that. I also believe that it would be so amazing to have a boyfriend who’s close to your siblings, a boyfriend who cares for your family so much and a boyfriend whom your family loves to.

Other than that, I don’t have any other standards in choosing a partner as long as I can see his sincerity and that he’s willing to accept me for what I am and my family.

I always have this on my mind that if ever I’ll find that special guy who’ll make my heart beats again and would do everything for me… I will do my best to love him more than he loves me.

The flower in the garden..

According to H. Jackson Brown, Jr. Quotation, “Children, marriages and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get. “ Indeed! I believe that life is like a mirror, there’s always a reflection on every little thing you do. For an instance, what can you expect to a flower in the garden receiving less care from a gardener? I can say, there’s a greater chance that it will die soon enough. Same with any relationships, if a person is receiving only a little attention, a little care and a little love, you can somehow expect an unhappy child, a rebellious teenager, an attention seeker girlfriend, a jealous boyfriend, an unfaithful wife or husband or even a broken family who craves for more of your attention. If not given enough care, relationships, like a flower in the garden, will soon, die.

Spent my whole day renovating my Tumblr and I never regret it. 🙂 Other than that, also had a great time taking pictures with my family. They look so cute 😀

um, What else..

o yes.. right now, I’m watching GGV “GANDANG GABI VICE” and I really love the voice of Charice (I don’t know the correct spelling of her name)

Still thinking what to add on my blog.  hm, Aw, yea.. a friend of mine who is also a nurse, Eric, visited me today. He just asked me about what are my plans for the coming year 2013. I just answered him which I quote, ” we’ll see when I get there”

Honestly, wala.. stranded talaga ako ngayon. Nag-iintay ng magandang tyempo at sign ni God. hehe.. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE. And I believe and trust His plans for me. ❤

Dito na muna. lablab xoxo
