Posted in Circle of Friends with tags , , , , , on October 10, 2013 by nursemihoko

Sooo after our meeting, my gang decided to hang out a bit in the movie house. 5 of us wanted to watch horror but one opposed that she doesn’t like horror…so we opted for the “SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS”… I like the place because it was very comfy.. there were foods too in case you would like to order, air-conditioned, with pillows in the sofa, with flat-screen tv, speakers and different genres of movies to watch… 🙂

The cold night inspires me to write something not so important after watching 3 movies consecutively, and its really hard typing every letter of my word coz I have turned off the lights already. I only have the light coming from the screen of my lappy. I won’t turn the lamp ON for my cousin who I shared my room with is already on her REM stage of sleep. And before I forgot sharing the great inspiring romantic movies I watched awhile ago.. here: SOMETHING BORROWED, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR and THE BACKUP PLAN. I recommend them to you and you won’t waste any of your time. Genres: comedy, romance and a lil bit of drama. 🙂

On the other side of the coin, I would like to evince the desires, thoughts and feelings I have been keeping for too long. I was always imagining things lately before I go to sleep. Those which won’t happen in reality ( I THINK, BUT DUNNO). Just like the title of this blog, is it possible to have a rain in the moonlight„guess no and so do my vivid imaginations and illusions. sigh!

Lastly.. so grateful it rains tonight. I remember memories again as I am listening to the sounds of raindrop as it falls on the rooftop; and it lights up my night though mr. moon is out of my sight (Oh God I sound so cliché). And just like the old days, I will whisper those words again and again that only the calm night wind can hear.

Goodnight!

This is how we celebrate it..

HALLOWEEN 2012. Most Filipinos are looking forward to this Holiday celebration.

31st of October.

People who are working far away from their home town start to travel back home to celebrate this special occasion with their loved ones. Last October 31, people didn’t report to their work anymore. They were very busy preparing for Nov. 1 and 2 which we call All Saints Day and All Souls Day respectively.

So, last Oct. 31 was one of the busiest days of the bus terminal/ city link.. And I was one of those people who traveled  back to my hometown.

1st of November.

We were hiking to  visit my uncle’s place which was about 3 kilometers away from our house. I was with my mom, cousins, brother and father. One of the many reasons why I love the province is the view and the fresh air.

I decided to watch a movie than watching horror shows on the television. I watched a movie “Every Child is Special”  and half way, I started crying and barely stopped until it was over. It was probably one of my favorite movies of all times.

The true worth of this thought-provoking film is in its educational value. The film educates the audience about dyslexia and promotes the idea that every child should be treated with love and respect despite his or her faults. A deeper look at the film brings out a bigger picture. The underlying theme is identifiable to anyone who is looked upon as “different”. The movie sees the best in every child even in his any condition and that everyone deserves a room for understanding.. CARE is another way of showing love. ♥

I would recommend this film to anyone. It truly was amazing. 🙂 ♥
Moreover, I also thank Kuya Dennis for letting me borrow his dvd tape which is the “3 IDIOTS”.. Finally, had watched it without any freezing moment in every scene.lol..Every second you spent on this movie is worth watching..You won’t regret it.. It’s emotional, it’s entertaining, it’s enlightening. The film has tremendous youth appeal. To add more, I have learned so much while watching this movie.-First, I have realized that education is not about success; it’s about pursuing excellence and doing what you are passionate about. In the end, success will chase you.

-Second, never memorize your lessons but understand..haha 🙂
-Third, BE HUMBLE.
-Fourth, the true value of friendship.
– Fifth, live every moment of your life to the fullest as if today is your last day. Conquer all your fears.. 🙂 ♥
– Lastly, life is all about listening to your heart and chasing your dreams. . ♥Pants down and palms up! wew! 😀
The night of November 1, we were offering a prayer with candles, flowers and foods in the altar. Most of the foods were native delicacies like, puto, suman, biko along with other recipes, beefsteak, fried chicken, pasta, rice etc.
2nd of November.
Around 9am in the morning, we went to the cemetery to offer another prayers and lighted candles for my dead loved ones.  As usual, so many people were doing the same. It was very warm that time because of the heat coming from the sun. Well, anyway.. I was glad I’ve  survived it without any dehydration heheh.
And now, I am ready to sleep because I am too tired from today’s activity.  Good night Philippines. 🙂

The Notebook..

Hopefully with the quotes I have posted below, I will be able to convince you to watch the movie if you haven’t or love it if you don’t love it.  Personally I think that all Nicholas Sparks movies have a beautiful story to tell. I cry every single time I see a Nicholas Spark movie. 🙂

“My Dearest Allie. I couldn’t sleep last night because I know that it’s over between us. I’m not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I’ll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I’ll be seeing you. Noah”
― Nicholas SparksThe Notebook

“I realize the odds, and science, are against me. But science is not the total answer; this I know, this I have learned in my lifetime. And that leaves me with the belief that miracles, no matter how inexplicable or unbelievable, are real and can occur without regard to the natural order of things.”

― Nicholas SparksThe Notebook

“I lost you once, I think I can do it again.”
― Nicholas SparksThe Notebook

This movie tells the real essence of true love . I envied the woman because even if she forgot her man during old age, the man tirelessly showed her what love really means: patiently waiting until death becomes the natural barrier of everything. But it is where they can rekindle the love lost in  oblivion. They held their hands when they died beside each other, smiling at another kind of eternal love.
